Immigrants Are Los Angeles

Immigrants Are LA (IRLA) is a coalition of grassroots immigrant organizations in LA county. Their primary goal is to advocate for the inclusion of immigrants in the county's budget and ensure they receive their fair share of resources and services. IRLA has their own resource list!  Some of their resources are listed here:

Mexican Consulate has set up 2 phone numbers:

If people are looking for a detained family member who is a Mexican National and need the Consulate's help (they are going into the actual detention facilities and assisting people currently detained): 213-219-0175


This other number is for the family member who is a Mexican National that is in detention and needs to get in touch with the Consulate to get help: 520-623-7874 (it is the Centro de Atención a Personas Mexicanas [Attention Center for Mexican Persons]).

Refuge Restrooms

Refuge Restrooms is a web application that seeks to provide safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming individuals. Users can search for restrooms by proximity to a search location, add new restroom listings, as well as comment and rate existing listings.   Trans led and seek to create a community focused not only on finding existing safe restroom access, but also advocating for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming people’s safety.
